Lynn’s Warriors💙 recognizes Monday’s House passage of the KIDS Act as an important acknowledgment that America can no longer ignore the impact of technology and social media on children and families.
But this is not enough.
Children deserve more than warnings and disclosures. They deserve products designed with their safety in mind from the very beginning. That is why Lynn’s Warriors will continue working with House and Senate leaders, survivor families and child safety advocates to restore a meaningful Duty of Care in federal online safety legislation.
We remain committed to advancing strong, bipartisan protections through robust versions of the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) and COPPA 2.0 that place children before algorithms, safety before engagement and families before profits.
The conversation is moving in the right direction.
Now Congress must finish the job.
Write your senators and ask then to support Kids Online Safety Act, S. 1748, and nothing less, and restore “Duty of Care.”
Thank you.
