Toy Story 5 brings Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the gang back for their most modern challenge yet: technology.Bonnie, now eight years old, becomes captivated by a new tablet-like device named Lilypad, leaving her beloved toys wondering whether they still have a place in her life. Jessie takes center stage as the toys struggle to compete with screens, social pressure and a world where childhood is increasingly shaped by technology rather than imagination.

The film explores the tension between traditional play and digital life. Rather than portraying technology as simply good or bad, Toy Story 5 asks an emotional question: What happens when screens begin replacing the creativity, friendships and adventures that toys once inspired? Woody and Buzz reunite to help Bonnie rediscover balance, while the toys confront their own fears of becoming obsolete in an age dominated by devices and AI.
