Lynn’s Warriors Statement April 2026 – National Child Abuse Awareness Month
April is National Child Abuse Awareness Month, and at Lynn’s Warriors, we approach it not as a symbolic moment, but as a call to action. Child abuse today does not exist only behind closed doors. It is happening online, in real time, across platforms that reach into every home, every device and every child.
Exploitation, grooming, coercion and psychological harm are no longer distant threats. They are present, persistent and evolving. We are witnessing a shift. Technology, including artificial intelligence, is accelerating exposure, influence and vulnerability at a pace that far outstrips safeguards. Children are not simply users of these systems. They are being shaped by them. This demands clarity and courage. Parents must be informed. Communities must be engaged. Schools must be transparent. Lawmakers must act. And technology companies must be held accountable for the environments they create and the consequences that follow.
At Lynn’s Warriors, we stand with survivor parents and families who have experienced the unthinkable and chosen to turn pain into purpose. Their voices are not only powerful, they are essential. This month, we urge every parent to start the conversation, to ask questions, to understand what their children are experiencing online and to stay actively involved. Awareness is not enough. Action is required. We believe in a future where children are protected, not exploited. Where innovation serves humanity, not the other way around. And where no family has to learn these lessons the hard way. April is a reminder. But our work does not end here.
Protect the children. Stay informed. Take action.
