These BIG TECH platforms were intentionally engineered with features like infinite scroll, push notifications and algorithmic amplification designed to capture and hold attention. This is not accidental design. It is deliberate. And when it comes to children, engagement is not just a metric. It is a business model.
BIG TECH generates billions in advertising revenue from young users in the United States. At the same time, new data shows that 36% of teens report using platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook almost constantly. This is the reality American families are facing. At Lynn’s Warriors, we believe parents deserve transparency and children deserve protection. When products are designed to maximize engagement without regard for impact, the consequences fall on our kids. Our children are not products. It is time, OVERDUE, to put their safety first.
