12-12 Lynn’s Warriors Statement on President Trump’s AI Executive Order

Lynn’s Warriors stands firmly against the new AI Executive Order signed by President Trump because it hands unprecedented power to Big Tech and strips states of their ability to protect children and families. This order is a federal overreach. It attempts to preempt state laws that were created to safeguard communities from untested and unregulated AI systems. It is an unconstitutional power grab that places corporate interests above public safety.
While the White House added language suggesting Congress should not preempt child safety or infrastructure, the Executive Order itself includes no clear protections. Big Tech has already shown how easily such exemptions can be twisted into loopholes large enough to erase state level safeguards. Families cannot be asked to trust corporations that profit from speed and scale, not safety.
States are the front line in protecting children from online exploitation, data abuses and AI systems that target minors with no oversight. Weakening state authority leaves children exposed at the exact moment AI is accelerating into schools, homes and social media platforms. This order replaces parental rights and community protections with a centralized system that answers to industry insiders, not families.
Lynn’s Warriors calls on Attorneys General and Governors in all fifty states to challenge this order. Protecting children is not partisan. It is a moral responsibility. Our message is clear, no president and no corporation should have the power to erase the laws that keep children safe. States must retain the right to defend their communities from technologies that move faster than regulation and place vulnerable populations at risk.
Lynn’s Warriors will continue to advocate for strong, transparent, community driven AI safeguards that put children first.
