#WeAreResilient October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Declared in 1989, the month of October has been a time to acknowledge domestic violence survivors & be a voice for its victims. FACT. There is an intersection between domestic violence & human trafficking. Over the past 30+ years, much progress has been made to support domestic violence victims and survivors, to hold abusers accountable, and to create and update legislation to further those goals.
