Artificial intelligence is one of the most powerful technologies of our generation, and with that power comes an enormous responsibility. Lynn’s Warriors💙believes AI can be leveraged for good: to protect children, identify threats, fight human trafficking and exploitation, strengthen law enforcement investigations, support victims, improve national security, and help communities respond faster to emerging dangers. But we cannot ignore the risks. Without appropriate guardrails, accountability, transparency and responsible oversight, AI can also be weaponized by criminals, predators, traffickers, foreign adversaries and terrorist organizations. The ability to generate convincing misinformation, manipulate identities, automate cyberattacks, exploit children or accelerate other dangerous activities creates risks that can reach far beyond individual victims. In the wrong hands, advanced AI could become a serious national-security threat with potentially catastrophic consequences.

That does not mean we should fear innovation or stop advancing American leadership in AI. It means we must be smart enough to build safety into that innovation. America should lead and not retreat. But leadership must include responsibility. We need strong safeguards, clear accountability, protection of children, cybersecurity standards, cooperation between government and industry and meaningful consequences for those who deliberately weaponize AI against innocent people.

The question isn’t whether AI will shape our future. It will. The question is whether we will shape that future responsibly. Lynn’s Warriors💙believes the answer must be yes.
