Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the unofficial start of summer. It is a solemn reminder that freedom carries responsibility, sacrifice and remembrance. Today we honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in defense of this nation and the generations who would follow.

At Lynn’s Warriors, Memorial Day also reminds us that protecting America’s children and families is part of preserving the very future those heroes died defending. A nation is not sustained by military strength alone. It is sustained by strong families, protected children, moral courage and the willingness of ordinary people to stand against exploitation, abuse and indifference.
