WHAT: The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) will reveal the 2025 Dirty Dozen List of mainstream contributors to sexual exploitation during an online briefing with legal, advocacy, and policy experts, and survivor-leaders in the movement against sexual abuse and exploitation. The Dirty Dozen List is an annual campaign that has called out twelve mainstream entities that facilitate, enable, and profit from sexual exploitation. Since 2013, it has driven major policy changes at Google, Netflix, TikTok, Hilton, Verizon, Walmart, the U.S. Department of Defense, and more.
Despite these victories and advocacy, the scale of online sexual exploitation and abuse increases year after year. This year’s Dirty Dozen List will reveal what is standing in the way of curbing online harms to both children and adults.
WHO: Speakers at the briefing will include:
- Jane Doe, Mother of CSAM survivor John Doe who sued X (Twitter)
- Mary Leary, Professor of Law, Catholic University of America, and a former federal prosecutor
