01-02 5 Digital Trends That Threaten Children in 2022

The world is speeding up! And also becoming more complex.

And looking toward 2022, I see FIVE digital trends that will target kids with more porn, predators, and problems.

Two of the five are really complex. People aren’t talking about them and many lawmakers often don’t understand them.

But I’m truly frightened about what these trends could do to vulnerable people, including children.

According to my friend Rick Lane of Iggy Ventures, in the words of Morpheus from The Matrix, we believe 2022 will present a true red or blue pill moment. If that illustration isn’t working for you, taking the red pill means opening a digital Pandora’s Box that cannot be shut. There will be no going back on the harms done to some children.

I recently sat through a presentation with confidential data from law enforcement. They showed us an image of ONE state that had over 2,000 red dots on it. Each dot represented a unique IP addresses (a computer or access point) that was trading Dropbox collections of child sexual abuse content (CSAM).

Over 2,000 of them.
